#chesterculture – Preview: Chester Film Society present ‘Catch Me Daddy’ – 5th April 2016

Catch Me Daddy tells the story of Laila, a girl on the run from her family who is hiding out in West Yorkshire with her drifter boyfriend Aaron. When her brother arrives in town with a gang of thugs in tow, she is forced to flee for her live and faces her darkest night.

Catch Me Daddy is a bold and blistering British debut from Daniel and Matthew Wolfe, featuring a breakout central performance from newcomer Sameena Jabeen Ahmed to stunning effect.

The screening of Catch Me Daddy on Tuesday is dedicated to the memory of Jenny Bingham.

George Mayled, president of Chester Film Society said: “Jenny was one of the founders of Chester Film Society in the 70s. One of the committee she played a great part in those early difficult days. Enthusiastic and forthright in her opinions she tackled all sorts of tasks with equal gusto. The Society owes her a great deal.”

    1. So probably not a good idea for people to get a 2015-2016 membership tomorrow then! 😊

If I can get out of work in time tomorrow then I’ll pop along.
