Arts/community funding + bid writing training for volunteers Tuesday 16 th February 2016 Sessions at 2 – 4.30pm + 6 – 8.30pm This FREE course will provide information + practical advice on where to look for funding sources and how to make the best application to suit the requirements of your project, group or venue. The course will help you find out what funders are really looking for in bid applications + how to make your bid stand out. The course is run by Stephen Wright, who has vast experience in bid writing + funding, and has been working particularly with community groups, arts groups, charities, volunteers + venues, to source and apply for a wide range of funds. THE COURSE IS FREE and available to Cheshire-based volunteers who enable arts activity to take place in local communities, including voluntary arts groups from across Cheshire, ie amateur musical/theatre groups, artist collectives, galleries, creative spaces + dance groups. Session 1 (Afternoon) Cheshire West & Chester Council HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester, CH1 2NP Session 2 (Evening) St Mary’s Creative Space, 2 St Mary’s Hill, Chester, CH1 2DW Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
