Chester Community Picnic for the homeless- Soul Kitchen

Chester Culture had a chance to visit the wonderful SOUL KITCHEN this afternoon. What an amazing community project. In their 9th week- supporting those in need with food, clothes, sleeping bags, tents and most importantly warmth, good company and compassion. It i truly amazing how HUMAN some people can be. Just simply being there for their fellow man, woman and children— helping out in any way they can.

Our hats go off to the Chester Soul Kitchen Team.

Please see their Twitter and FaceBook accounts for updates and info on how you can help out too. Donations and volunteers welcome.

Soul kitchen Chester is a community Picnic that meets every Saturday evening from 4-8pm in the roundabout gardens by Brook Street and the mecca bingo.
The picnic is a community event where the people of Chester can share their food and company with anyone who is experiencing food poverty or  homelessness everyone is welcome.
If you want to know more or would like to get involved please follow us on twitter @soul_chester or look for us on Facebook ‘soul kitchen Chester’
