If you’ve not been to a Dr Sketchy’s night then you’re missing out! It’s a cool and interesting take on a drawing class for draw-ers and non-draw-ers alike to be inspired and get stuck into some sketching. There’s a theme for each event, always quirky, weird, wonderful and glamorous. The nights are a feast for the eyes; full of colour, texture and often a large dose of glitter to feed your creativity. Led beautifully by “Madame-Ex” whose style brings together great drawing exercises that loosen you up and give you loads of great ways into drawing, while managing to make it all feel like a bit of fun, with a cheeky twist.
If you’re looking for an unusual way to spend an evening, give it a try, whether you think of yourself as arty or not, I think you’ll have a good time. For your £10 ticket all materials are included, so you don’t need to bring anything and the doors open at 7.30pm.
“Night of the Living Dolls” promises to be as theatrical as ever as they say…
“On the eve of Hallows Eve dollys everywhere turn wicked… know their tricks, know their sorcery…
Don’t be fooled by pretty painted face….
They’ll be coming for you.”
Oh I can’t wait!
