This Saturday the 4th of October in Chester.
The Chester Pride festival and Parade 12.noon- 7.pm
This is the 2nd Annual Chester pride and it will bigger and better!
Everyone is invited to come along!
The festival will held in Grosvenor Park and will begin with a colourful parade through the city centre. The parade will begin at 12.noon. There will be family friendly areas, a lifestyle area, market stalls, a theatre tent, an educational space, plenty of food and drink and a main stage.
The main stage music begins at 1:pm will host loads of different acts (check the web page for acts and times) including favourites like Sonia, Redd, Me and Deboe with main stage hosts DJ Betty Sparkle, Delores Dainty and Miss Penni…just to name a few.
The park events will close at 7pm but there are “after parties” planned throughout Chester.
The organizers and volunteers have been working very hard and are looking forward to a fantastic turn out for this community event.
This a FREE event and the public is asked not to bring their own alcohol or and glass containers. There will be plenty sold on the grounds.
