WALK ON BROKEN GLASS – Lyrics

Hey i haven’t posted anything for a while so here is some new lyrics i wrote the other day.  These are another Fifty Shades inspired lyrics and the words came to me when i was at work in Chester.

WALK ON BROKEN GLASS

The fire, the fire that’s in your eyes

Caused my soul to burn inside

And i don’t know what to do about it

Can i, can i get used to this

Having everything i need

And i don’t ever wanna lose it

I, i can’t just walk away

No matter what you say

You have me for always

So get used to it today

I walk on broken glass

Every time i turn and ask

Why can’t i touch you

Why can’t i feel you

I walk on thin ice

Every time you cut a slice

A part of me crumbles

You’re bursting my bubble

Walking on broken glass

The smile, the smile that lights your face

I don’t get to see it everyday

But you don’t notice anything

And now, now it’s not too late

To help you change your ways

But you can’t do it just because of me

I, i can’t just walk away

No matter what you say

You have me for always

So get used to it today

I walk on broken glass

Every time i turn and ask

Why can’t i touch you

Why can’t i feel you

I walk on thin ice

Every time you cut a slice

A part of me crumbles

You’re bursting my bubble

Walking on broken glass

You can have it all

Everything you want

You can have my heart

And stay inside my arms

You don’t have to run from your ghosts anymore

I walk on broken glass

Every time i turn and ask

Why can’t i touch you

Why can’t i feel you

I walk on thin ice

Every time you cut a slice

A part of me crumbles

You’re bursting my bubble

Walking on broken glass

Thanks for reading :).
