Fundraiser in Hoole

On Friday July 25th there was a lot of noise in Hoole!

A fundraiser was held  at the Hoole Community Centre to raise money for the Christmas Light celebrations that take place annually.

The fundraiser was organised by a group of volunteers and was a great success. There were many local businesses that came to support the event with food, drink, music and many raffle prizes. The event was family oriented with face painting and games for kids. There were bands including Chester locals The Daymons, Dead Pixels, The Jigsaws, and The Roodai who played to cheering / dancing crowds. The atmosphere was electric and upbeat. It was a lovely warm summer evening and the outdoor / BBQ atmosphere was friendly and fun.

A community event for Chester and particularly to raise funds for Hoole. The organisers call themselves NottingHoole and are made up of local volunteers. If you would like to get involved please contact : @NottingHoole  or

The Christmas light event will take place on : November 15, 2014.
