Artists/Printmakers from Wales and the Northwest are coming to Chester for the first ever Printmakers Art Fair they will be exhibiting their art which will be available to buy, it’s a unique opportunity to meet artists who make prints and to talk about their work.

The Fair will take place on 14th June 2014 at St Mary’s Centre in Chester doors open at 10am.!

All work will be made using traditional printmaking methods, etchings, collagraphs linocuts
screenprints to name a few, and covering all types of art, landscape, figurative and abstract.!

“Its a chance to purchase work from well known, respected artists and new emerging artists. The quality of their work is outstanding, and costs will be very reasonable because you can buy direct from the artist”, stated local artist and organiser Nigel Morris.

“printmaking has a growing following nationally created by contemporary artists and craftspeople, this is an event that the residents of Chester can come along to and enjoy some of the fantastic art made and get involved with. The Regional Print Centre based in Wrexham will be doing hands-on printing demonstrations during the day which will be suitable for all ages. We know that visitors will come away from the fair with a
new appreciation of printmaking and maybe a bargain or two under their arm.

It’s great to see Chester’s first print fair being organised, we look forward to seeing what’s on offer,
