Chester Library’s Jane Austen Regency Christmas Festival
 Join Chester Library to celebrate a Regency Christmas on 30th November between 10am-3pm.  The event is free and suitable for children and adults.  There will be music, song, dance, children’s crafts, quizzes, an exhibition, ‘Regency Makeovers’ by No 7 and Dior, refreshments and a talk by Sue Wilkes on Regency life in Cheshire (charge of £2 for tickets to the talk, please book in advance).  Festivities start with the Mayor opening the festival at 10.00am.

VINTAGE FAIR

November 30th, 10am West Cheshire Vintage Fair Hoole Community Centre Offering over 25 stalls with vintage clothing, collactables, jewellry, furnature and more! There will also be a tea room with refreshments available entry £2  and £1 concessions (children free)

VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS at the GROSVENOR MUSEUM, 7:30-9:30pm

Come and see Father Christmas with his reindeer, enjoy music and carols with  a Victorian Christmas celebration.

WINTER WATCH PARADES
The Christmas Light parade with the Queen of Light was just the beginning!!
 Come along and be amazed at the two Winter Watch parades – amazing costumes! on Thursday December 5th and 12th starting at the Town Hall at 7pm

Come and watch the Roman Soldiers of Chester parade through the streets of Chester on December 19th.   In celebration of the god Saturn.

The Saturnalia Parade is a Roman torch light parade

Starting at 6:30pm at the Grosvenor Museum…the Soldiers will parade through the streets and perform.

The Parade will be proceeded by a lantern making workshop at the Grosvenor Museum starting at 5:45pm

Enjoy The Chester Christmas Market at the Town hall until DECEMBER 21

A traditional Christmas with The Lord Mayor of Chester
23rd November- 21st December
2-4pm, every Saturday
Town Hall, Northgate St, 
– part of the Christmas Celebrations- To support The Lord Mayor’s Charity fund for Adoption Matters Northwest – there is a suggested donation of  £1. You can enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie with The Lord  Mayor herself.

The National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port’s ever popular Santa  Cruises

give families a chance to take a boat trip on the canal with  Santa. Then follow him to his workshop to be told a tale and receive  a  present. The event ends  with refreshments.
Three trips a day at 11am, 12.45pm and 2.30pm on 7, 8, 14, 15, 21-24 December 2013.
