Supporting Amateur Theatre Companies

The Riverside Players..... Heswall

What a treat! We had the opportunity to go along and watch the dress rehearsal
of
"The God of Carnage"
presented by the Riverside Players in Heswall last night.
This group has a true sense of passion for Theatre and Community.... A
wonderful combination.

Started over 65 years ago (!) the Heswall group present 4-5 shows a year.
They are true to the cultural benefits of their group on their community.
Most of the actors, cast and crew are local and have been part of the Riverside
Players for years.

The production starts today at HESWALL HALL ,

Prepare for : four actors on the stage demonstrating an expanse of human emotion.
An astounding performance when two couples come together to discuss a fight
between their sons. Emotions run high and low... as they keep you more than entranced in their
dialogue and expression.
They work incredibly well together on the stage.

Thank you to the Riverside Players for keeping Theatre alive and accessible for
all.
There are several amateur Theatre groups on Wirral and they actively work
together to help promote and support one another.
One of these is The Carlton Players presenting Agatha Christie's - A Murder is Announced - from Nov 19-23 in
Birkenhead. www.carltonlittletheatre.co.uk
