Beware the Bison

Is that the sound of thundering hooves I hear in the distance? This just in from Funkdub…

Funkdub 9th birthday
Thundering hooves come this way

All hail the mighty Bison, stampeding to Telfords.

Get ready for Bison, the incredible hoof-stomping party beast set to rock Telfords Warehouse in Chester to its very foundations on Saturday, 26th October.

Hand-picked to celebrate the 9th birthday of one of the North-West’s most respected music nights, Funkdub, Bison represent the pinnacle of the live events that Chester has enjoyed for nearly a decade.

Nothing can prepare you for the ska-fuelled mayhem that is Bison’s live show. Infectious to its very core, the Sheffield band has been captivating audiences since 2004 with a blend of musical styles that encompasses reggae, hip-hop, funk, folk and blues.

Bison’s festival appearances have become the stuff of legend. A gang of orange-jumpsuited party animals, notorious on the festival scene for stealing the show due to their incredible energy, humour and performances, this show is absolutely not to be missed.

Funkdub continues to select the most cutting-edge live bands to showcase for Telford’s knowledgeable and appreciative audience.

After organising some of the most incredible and memorable live shows in recent years, including those from Coda, The Dub Pistols, Greg Wilson, Pama International, Max Sedgely & The Shoots, Little Barrie and Keb Darge, Funkdub’s ninth birthday spectacular promises to be another legendary night in the area’s history.

Bison will be supported by resident Funkdub DJs, 3DJ and G-Kush, backing up the main event with their infamous vinyl mastery.

Funkdub Live Presents Bison will be on Saturday, 26th October at Telford’s Warehouse. Tickets are priced at just £4 on the door / free before 9pm.
